history of the futurist

I love Adrian Hon's idea. Our own HOTBOOK project in schools imagines the literature of the future.
Last year we were planning a website of mini-talks about Bill Mayblin's wonderful collection of iconic objects from different cultures... then The History of the World in 100 Objects started on Radio 4 and overwhelmed that idea.

To see how the future has been pictured in the past visit the fascinating www.paleofuture.com.

And finally here's a cartoon I made with Brushes for the iPad of publishing futurist Mike Shatzkin at IF BOOK THEN.
