A few points about getting rid of the keyboard:
Obviously predictive writing is a key feature to use the device.
Apple has usually been very good at localisation into different languages — which makes it rather encouraging for non-English speakers.
Google's massive investments in acquiring extensive, multilingual, googles of terabytes of text definitely make sense.
Why are iPhone users significantly complaining about auto-completion of whatever they attempt to type?
